As you know, the small town of Altadena, nestled between the city and the mountains, has been obliterated. We’re one of the fortunate few whose house still stands. Currently we don’t know when we can get back, let alone make it livable again. Every agency, every service, everyone is doing all they can, and we are grateful for their work, but it’s going to be a while before we can begin to recover. At the nudging of friends and family we’ve set up this fund to accommodate all the amazing offers of assistance. Any help would be greatly appreciated. In the meantime, Leila and I want to thank everyone for all the good wishes and prayers for us and our neighbors. Hug your pets and loved ones. Thank you.

Nuestra querida ciudad de Altadena ha sido devastada, y aunque tenemos la suerte de que nuestra casa todavía esté en pie, es inhabitable debido a los daños causados por el humo. No sabemos cuándo volveremos, pero nos aferramos a la esperanza.
