Please help Eric & Kay Mathews with medical and care needs

Eric’s sister, Cassie, and I are humbly reaching out on behalf of Eric and my sister, Kay. Eric suffered a devastating and life threatening injury on Monday. While working in his yard to prepare so that he could leave town for his dad’s surgery and not burden Kay with additional responsibilities, his tractor tragically rolled over him. His injuries are quite extensive and have required several life saving surgeries so far with additional needed in the coming weeks. Due to the severity of his injuries, not only will his recovery be extensive, their home will require some significant modifications.

For those of you who know Eric and Kay, they are the most selfless, loving, people and have been through so much already. This accident will leave Eric with a long road ahead of him for recovery and adaptation physically, emotionally and financially. Our hope is to alleviate some of the overwhelming financial burden due to extensive medical costs, the necessary adaptations that will need to be made in their home for Eric, as well as his loss of income.

We are asking for help to ease some of the overwhelming financial burden so they can focus on healing.
