Hi, my name is Emma Wartman and my brother Eric Crabtree was involved in an accident on 6/26/23 that has caused significant injury to his right arm. He has undergone a couple surgeries so far. There are multiple severed nerves and broken bones so the prognosis is unknown at this time. The surgeon has stated a minimum of 8 months to a year before he will be able to work again. Eric does manual labor (hardwood floors and concrete work) that involves his hands. While they have medical insurance, Eric's income is needed to maintain their home and monthly expenses. Being self employed, he does not have medical leave or other short term disability options. Our parents raised us to help those in need and Eric and Jamie both are the type of people who would give the shirt off their backs to help those in need. We are forever grateful that he is alive and they were able to save his arm but this tragedy is without a doubt life changing. They would never ask for help but as immediate family we know the need and are hopeful to reduce some of the financial burden so he can focus on healing! The outpouring of support and prayers from friends, family and community has been heartwarming! God Bless you all!
