Eric, Alana & William Joines Lung Cancer Battle

Hi-

My name is Alana Joines. My husband Eric has been a long fight with cancer for the past 2 years. We found out last week that he now has lung cancer in the right lung as well as colon cancer. The doctors at Washington University in St. Lousi at Barnes Hospital said we must move fast to save my husband and the daddy of our 11 year old son William.

We will be in St. Louis on Monday May 15th for his pre-op physical, his labs, and visit with anesthesia.

Surgery is scheduled for Tuesday May 23. At that time they will be cutting out the upper 1/2 of Eric's right lung and removing the lymph nodes. It will be a 2-3 hour surgery. Eric will be in the hospital up there for 4-5 days post surgery. I am trying to raise funds to help cover the costs of travel, eating, and lodging expenses for William and I.
