You can make a difference by donating today to Eritrean Relief and Development Association.
Eritrean Relief and Development Association (ERDA) is a non-profit organization in Seattle WA, started by Eritreans from all over the world with a shared vision to support Eritrean refugees displaced from their homes, livelihoods, and communities.
Children and families flee their countries due to conflict, religious or political persecution, indefinite conscription, and lack of survivability. The refugee journey in this region is particularly dangerous, expensive, and incredibly long. Refugees may be restricted to camps for years before finding passage to other countries without any way to obtain food, clothing, and shelter.
We need your help. Our work changes lives.
STRONGER TOGETHER. ERDA partners with various organizations to provide relief for refugee and returnee affairs.
ERDA volunteers make it possible for 100% of our donations to go directly to our aid programs.
Your donations have supported the following aid projects:
~provide safe drinking water, nonperishable food, clothing/shoes, and sports equipment
~provide medical supplies and needed medical exams (eye, teeth, diabetes screening)
~provide specialized care for the more vulnerable, our elderly or disabled refugees
~provide school materials to educate our young, bright, Eritrean youth
~provide building maintenance and schoolhouse repairs
We need your help. Our work changes lives.
Our current fundraising goal is $50,000 USD for the Eritrean schools in Sudan: (elementary/middle/high schools located in Deem and Giref)
~generators needed for schools in very high temperatures (40+C)
~renovations needed to stop roof leaks
~payment of required school fees for children with the least means to receive their certifications
~supplemental payment to teachers
We need your help. Our work changes lives. Help us raise the urgently needed money to fund these aid programs. Please donate today.
