Dear Family and Friends!
For the last three years, I have been living in Riverside, California, attending Relevant church. Our mission is very simple; Love God. Love People. And do something about it.
There are a few ministries we get the opportunity to partner with and serve, but one particular partnership caught my attention and has had a huge impact on my heart. Thrive Rescue Home. This home in Thailand, founded by Jeremy and Jennifer Kraus, is making a dent in the sex slave trafficking industry. Sex trafficking is the largest slave industry in the world and a majority of those enslaved are women and children.
My church has been able to send monthly support and help from a distance, but now I have the opportunity to be there in the flesh and lend my talents and skills to support what they are doing. I have a major opportunity to help make a difference in the world of sex slavery and trafficking!
I am going to travel to Thailand on July 27th with my pastor and bring my video equipment and shoot stories of those whose lives they have impacted by Thrive Rescue Home. I am going to shoot stories those whose lives have been liberated. I am going to help tell the stories of those who were literally bound and are now free. Children who now have hope. Lives that now have a bright future. Its my mission that these stories will bring awareness to this terrible reality and more support can be raised to help free those who are still trapped in slavery.
I need YOUR help! I need to raise $3000 by this Monday, June 22, 2015. These funds will be used for my travel expenses and to secure a few key pieces of equipment that will be used in this video project.
I am asking that you not only support financially, but that you also please share this post with your social networks and friend lists. Together WE can make this goal of $3000 and ultimately help make a dent in this industry that is ruining so many lives.
