This diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma came at a very inconvenient time in my life. My medical practice was just coming together and then I lost several months of working and billing the medical insurance companies due to my illness. I am having difficulty keeping up with my personal bills but now I am starting to receive my medical bills. This is just so overwhelming for a cancer patient who is instructed to keep her stress level down so she can keep her immune system healthy. I recently received bad news that I was not responding to the chemo regimen I was on and now I am on a physically and mentally taxing regimen. One thing I have learned about this cancer, it is incurable, it can be managed but not cured. I can look forward to remissions and relapses for the rest of my life, never knowing when the other shoe is going to drop. Right now, 5 out of 7 days are pure hell. Please consider helping me out until I can get on short term disability or go into remission. I thank you for blessing me in any way you can. I love you.
P.S. You all know how extremely difficult this was for this proud red-headed Italian to do...
