Erbil, Iraq Summer Mission

Hello all! I have been given an amazing opportunity this summer to take part in a three week long mission trip to Iraq spanning from mid May to early June. Our objectives on this trip are primarily education & healthcare. There are 10 people on my mission team, and we were each asked to raise $3,200 to support ourselves in the trip, and to be fully funded by January. On the trip, my team will be working in Mar Qardakh, a Catholic school in Erbil, Iraq, to spread God’s word in a much needed place. The school was founded in 2015 by Archbishop Warda and we will be working in the school and in a local hospital with children and families. The area is very safe, but we will be able to reach families who have been through unimaginable tragedies, with the word of God. This is a new mission for Franciscan University and we are SO excited to see everything He has in store for us!

I hope to have more info available as details for the mission are still being sorted out. We are in need of support for the trip, of course though prayer, & financial means as well. We are so grateful for any means by which we are supported!!
