Landyn's Journey

On Friday, May 19, 2023, Landyn Strosnider, a fifth-grade student at Bishop Mussio Elementary School, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Landyn is currently being treated at Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh with his parents, Kevin and Andrea, by his side. Landyn is a resilient and strong boy who is ready to fight a battle no child should have to fight. As you can imagine, this unexpected and sudden news has abruptly altered all their lives. We hope that you can not only offer your prayers over Landyn and his family, but also contribute to lessen the financial burden. This will help alleviate Kevin and Andrea’s worries so that they can focus on Landyn’s journey to healing and health. Any amount donated is greatly appreciated. After Landyn's treatment period of 2-3 years, the family will be donating any unused funds to UPMC Children's Pediatric Oncology Program.
