E.R. Heart Bills ~ Please Help

On August 2nd of this year my husband Tom needed to go to the emergency room. We don’t have insurance and we live in the United States. He was supposed to have gotten health insurance when his new contract started at work. Then Covid-19 shut down businesses & the contract he was supposed to have was let go. No insurance… Stress took it’s toll and his heart was behaving as though it was running a marathon even though he was just laying still. Thank goodness the hospital was able to get his heart back to a normal beat the next day. But the bills are rolling in, and my husband is still out of work. We need help please.

Tom, my husband takes care of myself & I’ve had MS for over 25 years. I’m in a wheelchair now, and he does all that he can for me and our son. We need him, there was no choice on whether we got him help! When I called 911 first they sent out fire they monitored him and his heart was behaving so wildly they said he needed to go in to the ER.

The hospital was amazing the firemen were amazing!! Now the bills are coming in. The first bill was from the hospital and it was more than we had but we didn’t realize there were going to be more bills coming in. One from the fire department, Another from the heart specialist, then for the x-ray of his chest, A bill for observation. A bill for emergency room. And Lord only knows what else is going to come in.
