I'm Leslie, a good friend of Ben Shields, who is currently in ICU at Grossmont Hospital.  He is on a breathing machine and kidney dialysis.  Ben has been in the ICU since Feb. 6.

Ben's mom, Rose and his sister, Samantha have been by his side non-stop since then, foregoing other responsibilities that they have in order to give love & support to Ben.

His friends and family have been praying for him to recover & regain consciousness &  open his beautiful brown eyes.

Rose has been missing work to stay with Ben, but still the bills, rent, food, etc. are knocking at the door.

Ben is an awesome person & many people are willing to set aside money for the family.  I want to help them as much as I can by opening this gofundme account for them.
