Hi all,

I’m just one of Christine’s many friends who has been heartbroken to learn of yet another set back this poor woman has been dealt in life. This has triggered me to advocate on her and her families behalf, by creating a GofundMe to try and raise some money to support this young family,

On Thursday October 9, Christine suffered a Stroke, yet another life threatening health issue thrown her way. This has significantly affected the right side of her body, and is going to require ongoing rehabilitation and therapy to try and hopefully restore the lost function.

A bit of background about this incredibly strong and resilient woman. When Christine was just 21years old, back in 2013, she was diagnosed with stage 4 Brain Cancer. This required surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy.

Whilst she was undergoing this treatment, her beloved Dad passed suddenly then her mother was also then diagnosed with leaukemia. Her dear mother has since then recently passed away 8 months ago.

As a result of the brutal treatment that she had to endure, Chris has vision and hearing loss, chronic headaches and migraines and cognitive challenges.

Just when this young family couldn’t possibly endure any more, her husband James’ father in the UK has just also been diagnosed with cancer to which he has to fly back to the UK with their 2 oldest daughters, to support his father through his recovery.

This is going to leave Christine at home alone with a 2 month old baby, and in poor physical health to be independent and confidently performing all necessary tasks a mum must do, let alone rehab and self care.

Unfortunately little to no assistance is offered for young people in these situations, that is why I have turned to this platform, in hope to support this beautiful young family.

Christine is listed as the recipient, with all funds raised directly going to her.
