Equipo De Softball Pide Ayuda

Saludos a todos! Esta cuenta ha sido creada por un grupo de jugadoras del equipo que actualmente es el tercer mejor equipo del mundo en el ranking mundial y el equipo mejor posicionado entre todos los deportes de conjunto en la isla, tanto en la rama femenina como en la masculina. Lo primero que queremos mencionar es que como equipo, hemos recibido todo el apoyo posible de nuestro Comité Olímpico y estamos más que agradecidas por los fondos que nos proveen año tras año, fondos de los que, a nuestro entender, dependemos únicamente. Estos fondos se usan para cubrir los costos de boletos de avión, estadía, transportación, dietas para comida, entrenamientos, pagos a entrenadores (si aplica), entre otros. El manejo de la situación de los uniformes, equipo deportivo, etc es aparte. Si bien nuestra institución nos ha proveído con uniformes de juego para asistir a nuestros compromisos en pasados años, el presupuesto no nos alcanza para costear nuestros uniformes de práctica y otros artículos deportivos esenciales con los que no contamos en este momento. Como ya todos saben carecemos del apoyo de auspiciadores por razones que desconocemos, y esto nos ha complicado la situación. La primera vez que hicimos este tipo de recaudación fue en el 2019 cuando nosotras mismas abrimos una cuenta a través de esta misma página para poder cómpranos unos cascos (porque no todas teníamos el mismo) y equipo para recuperación física. Siempre usamos como ejemplo los dos equipos que nos superan en el ranking mundial y quienes siempre han sido las dos potencias más grandes en el softball: Estados Unidos y Japón. Estos son equipos que llegan a sus compromisos vestidas de manera uniforme, incluyendo su calzado (ganchos y turfs), bultos, etc. Wow, y poder decir que somos el equipo que les sigue a estas dos potencias en el ranking nos llena de mucho orgullo. Poder llegar aquí ha sido el resultado de un esfuerzo enorme y muchos sacrificios por más de 15 años. Demás está decir que lo que hacemos, lo hacemos de corazón. Con mucha humildad decimos que la posición en la que nos encontramos hoy nos hace merecedoras de un buen uniforme de práctica, uniformes de buena calidad, que todas podamos calzar igual, y que no nos falten artículos deportivos (mallas, bolas, tees) en ninguno de nuestros próximos compromisos.

Hemos estado en constante comunicación con la compañía que nos fabrica nuestros uniformes, MOJO USA, y esta orden se tiene que hacer lo más pronto posible ya que estamos a poco más dos meses para salir hacia nuestro próximo compromiso. Esta orden se tarda de 6-8 semanas en ser procesada y y entregada.

Es por esto que le estamos haciendo un llamado a todos nuestros seguidores, amigos, familiares y fanáticos del deporte para que nos den la mano y nos ayuden a recaudar estos fondos que tanto nos hacen falta. Con el dinero que recaudemos estaremos pagando por un set de uniforme nuevo, ropa de práctica (incluyendo el coaching staff), ganchos, zapatos para entrenar, bultos, equipo deportivo, entre otros gastos. De haber algún sobrante luego de hacer la compra de todas estas cosas, queremos mantenerlo en la cuenta de banco que estaremos utilizando y usar esos fondos para futuros eventos. Queremos aprovechar para agradecer a todos los que de alguna manera u otra si nos han dado la mano en el camino. Ellos saben quienes son. Aunque estamos disfrutando de nuestro mejor momento como equipo, aún queda camino por recorrer y muchas metas por cumplir. Nos comprometemos a seguir representándolos a todos con todo el orgullo que se merecen. Esperamos poder contar con su apoyo.

Greetings to everyone! This account has been created by a group of players from the National Women's Softball Team of Puerto Rico, who are currently the third best team in the world in the world ranking and the best positioned team among all the overall sports on the island, both in the women's and men's branches. The first thing we want to mention is that as a national team, we have received all possible support from our Olympic Committee and we are more than grateful for the funds they provide us year after year, funds in which, from our knowledge, we depend solely. These funds are used to cover the costs of plane tickets, stay, transportation, food diets, training, payments to coaches (if applicable), among others. The federation is in charge of managing the situation of uniforms, sports equipment, etc. Although our federation has provided us with game uniforms to attend our commitments in past years, the budget is not enough for us to pay for our practice uniforms and other essential sporting goods that we do not have at the moment. As you all know, we lack the support of sponsors for reasons that we do not know, and this has complicated the situation for us. The first time we did this type of collection was in 2019 when we ourselves opened an account through this same page to be able to buy us some helmets (because we didn't all have the same) and equipment for physical recovery. We always use as an example the two teams that surpass us in the world ranking and those who have always been the two greatest powers in softball: the United States and Japan. These are teams that reach their commitments dressed uniformly, including their shoes (cleats and turfs), bags, etc. Being able to say that we are the team that follows these two powers in the ranking fills us with a lot of pride. Being able to get here has been the result of an enormous effort and many sacrifices for more than 15 years. Needless to say, what we do, we do from the heart. With great humility we say that the position in which we find ourselves today makes us worthy of a good practice uniform, good quality uniforms, that we can all look the same, and that we do not lack sporting goods (nets, balls, tees) in any of our next commitments.

We have been in constant communication with the company that manufactures our uniforms, MOJO USA, and this order has to be made as soon as possible since we are just over two months away to leave for Santiago, Chile where we will be participating in the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games. This order takes 6-8 weeks to be processed and delivered, so we are against the clock.

This is why we are calling on all our followers, friends, family and sports fans to extend hands and help us raise these funds that we urgently need. With the money we collect we will be paying for a set of new uniform, practice clothes (including coaching staff), cleats, training shoes, bags, sports equipment, among other expenses (recovery, training etc). If there is any surplus after making the purchase of all these things, we want to keep it in the bank account that we will be using and use those funds for future events. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who in some way or another have given us a hand along the way, they know who they are. Although we are enjoying our best moment as a team, there is still a long way to go and many goals to be met. We are committed to continuing to represent you all with all the pride you deserve.
