Equipment upgrade for streaming services

 

We are 4C Visuals Group, an award-winning filmmaking duo, which makes documentary films about the African American community. Since 2017; we have been creating films that deal with black men and mental health, and other pertinent topics about the black community. After winning several awards for our documentaries (including the Black Hollywood Film Festival); many people have suggested that we need to place our powerful content on Netflix, and other top-tier streaming services. However, in order to do that, you have to meet certain video criteria. Netflix, specifically, requires certain cameras and lenses just to submit material. Up to this point, we have self-funded all of our projects, and now it is time to upgrade! Being 2 hard-working single fathers, there is only so much we can afford in order to meet these financial responsibilities.
 
With that being said; we are reaching out to our mass fan base, and core supporters to help us reach our goal. The equipment we need will come to roughly $30,000 in order to meet Netflix standards, and also cover travel expenses, etc.
 
Our films on mental health have had a tremendous impact on black men and women alike. We have heard phenomenal and heart-wrenching testimonies about men who have started therapy, mended their families, and done what needed to be done to better themselves for their families and community.
We want to continue to provide these types of potent film projects to the world. However, as we all know, it takes finances.
