In the past 14 years that Girls Soccer has been part of St. Francis de Sales high school, the girls who participated have always had to pay for their own gear. This cost can be anywhere from $100-$300 range per student. As head coach I have always tried to find ways to minimize this cost to the girls and their families.

We are a small school located on the southeast side of Chicago. 95% of our students come from low income households. Although we are small, we have a lot to be proud of!

Our two coaches are also alumni of the school and of the program. Having played and been a part of the SFDS girls soccer team makes us so proud to be back as head of the program. As head coach I try my best to lift team spirit and unify our young ladies. Each and every day I am continually amazed at how resilient my girls are. Even though most of them have never played soccer before they continue to show up and put in the work.

Having quality gear that they can wear in school and outside of school is important because it shows that they are truly invested in getting better and I believe that when you look good, you play even better.
