Hi, my name's Leilani. I’m an activist in Portland, and on October 2nd, I was assaulted by a DHS officer at a peaceful protest. I'm 19 years old, living on my own and supporting myself. I was maced 2 inches from my face for 3 seconds with no protective equipment. (I have never been charged or arrested.) Most of my free time is spent on the grounds of the Portland ICE facility on South McAdam.

Over the past 100 days, I've been gassed, shot at, maced, and I haven't been able to afford proper equipment: a gas mask, filters, GoPro harness, phone case (broken by DHS), or basically any PPE. My partner on the grounds has street med experience but can't afford equipment for himself either.

I would deeply appreciate any donation to help us be prepared for No Kings on the 18th, and future protests. Any money left over will be used to purchase masks and equipment for fellow protesters.
