Help Equip Young Adventurers: Survival Gear for a Life-Changing Experience
I’ve recently been honored with a request from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife to teach survival skills to a group of 14 boys, ages 12–17. This is a volunteer opportunity, and if you know me, you know I’m always all in when it comes to sharing knowledge and helping the next generation grow stronger and more self-reliant.
My goal is simple: I want each of these boys to leave not just with memories, but with real, tangible gear to continue their journey. 100% of the funds raised will go directly toward purchasing survival equipment and supplies for them to take home.
What Your Donation Will Help Provide (Per Boy):
Ferro rod fire starter – for learning safe, reliable fire-making
Sturdy fixed-blade knife with sheath – essential for bushcraft and safety (age-appropriate)
Paracord (25–50 ft) – versatile tool for shelters, snares, and more
Emergency mylar blanket – lightweight and compact, great for warmth and signaling
Compass – to learn basic land navigation
Water purification tablets or filter straw – clean drinking water anywhere
Mini first aid kit – because safety always comes first
Notebook & pencil – to take notes, sketch, or journal their experience
Small gear bag or pouch – to carry their new tools with pride
Every donation helps, no matter the size. Let’s make this an experience they’ll never forget.
Thank you for your support.
