Equip Philly's Youth for Manufacturing Jobs

Hi Everyone,

We are trying to raise funds for the Alan Horwitz 6th Man Center in Philly. $15,000 to be exact. We are getting the ball rolling with $500. What Greg Thompson and the center are doing is nothing short of awesome. Creating programs for inner-city young adults to better themselves and place them in manufacturing jobs across the region. Here at B&B, we are offering our support in any way possible. While we would love to be able to just buy this mill, that just isn't in the cards for us as a company. We are hoping this great community will show their support in helping us raise these funds. Getting the 6th Man Center this mill will help get them qualified for the Gene Haas Grant, which will help them start their career with a little something. Whether it be a pair of boots or some hand tools, anything helps when first starting out. We also feel that the 6th Man Center just having this mill will help entice the young men and women to take one of the courses there. We thank you in advance for your support.
