Hi everyone!
I'm sure some might never imagine me, a 5'1" woman once stuck at 100 pounds, stepping into the role of personal trainer.
But after being laid off from a stable WFH job in 2024, I'm no stranger to life revealing new paths I didn’t know I’d love.
My fitness story:
I started going to the gym with my mom at 13, but it wasn’t until after my teen years that fitness truly clicked for me. But year after year, finding an affordable gym, or a gym that wasn't always packed and equipment always in use, felt impossible for me to continue being consistent.
Then at the end of 2024, the gym that was finally working for me, closed permanently, and my search for a new gym began anew. This search lead me to a gym in Culver City. It was smaller and a little pricey, but I was determined to continue with my health and wellness goals, and then, my goal to become a personal trainer.
My path to personal trainer isn't how most find their way into the field. A week into being a new member at the gym, I was “recruited.” Yes, recruited; from being a member to becoming a coach.
Well, first, becoming a sales rep while I studied and learned, then finally, becoming a coach. But something completely unexpected that has turned into one of the most rewarding chapters of my life.
Coaching has helped me find my voice, discover my leadership skills, and witness firsthand how empowering fitness can be.
Since becoming a coach, I’ve had the privilege of guiding clients to healthier, stronger lives. I’ve seen shy beginners grow in confidence and claim their belonging in the gym. I've seen people who once dreaded P.E. class light up with excitement to try new lifts, discover their own strength, and transform their daily habits.
Working at a gym in Los Angeles has been an incredible experience, and it’s inspired me to expand my reach even further.
Now, I’m ready to bring fitness out of the gym and into my community.
My vision is to host outdoor classes at local parks. I will provide fun, inclusive sessions that give people a welcoming space to move their bodies and build strength, no matter their starting point. No gym needed.
To make that possible, I’m raising funds for the basic equipment I’ll need to launch these classes.
Every contribution — no matter the size — will go directly toward equipment like Ybells, resistance bands, medicine balls, exercise mats, and other essentials that make these workouts accessible, effective, and affordable for everyone.
Your support means so much to me. Whether you’re able to donate or simply share this campaign, you’re helping me create something that’s bigger than myself: a space for people to feel empowered, healthy, and strong.
Thank you for believing in me and for helping me take this next step!

P.S. To my LA donors: do let me know if you want to come take a class. As a thank you, come take one on me. Coach India is stern and we don't skip core, so don't say I didn't warn you ;).
