Hello, we are the Equestrian Team at the University of Washington! We are a co-ed recreational and competitive equestrian team through the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA). Our competitive members, which comprise people of all levels, travel to compete against other colleges in the area in both hunt seat and western IHSA shows all the way up to the national level. Additionally, we host weekly on-campus meetings, volunteer with horse-related organizations, and attend riding lessons and clinics at a nearby equestrian center. This team was established in 1999 to create a more affordable equestrian experience for riders and horse-lovers of all experience levels to participate in the showing and general horse world. With this fundraiser, we attempt to eliminate the costly aspect of horse riding and increase our outreach, welcoming a greater amount of people to join!

We appreciate any support you are able to give. Your donation supports activities like:

Funding for our annual show (venue, judge, ribbons, etc.)

Lowering costs towards traveling to shows (gas, hotels, etc.)

Decreasing showing costs

Lowering yearly club dues

Gear for shows (hats, spurs, boots, etc.)

Supporting riders to lesson and train with our team

As we recognize that our sport is expensive, we are asking that you help eliminate expenses that inhibit team members from participating.
