Equality in STEM Education Fundraiser - STEM For Others

Tax deductible
Our education system is at a crossroads where it is not preparing our students to be competitive at the global level. The issue is more pronounced for socio-economically disadvantaged families as the disparity in STEM education widens. They face substantial hurdles in accessing quality learning opportunities. We believe that advancement in STEM is the greatest equalizer that creates the greatest opportunities for upward mobility.

This is where STEM For Others comes in, a youth-led 501(c)3 certified nonprofit based in the Bay Area. We aim to bridge this gap, enabling the next generation of STEM Leaders through programs at middle schools and through our educational platform STEMplore. Currently, we have partnered with 6 schools within the United States, directly impacted around 500 students, and have volunteered over 700 hours as an organization. These numbers will rapidly increase in the 24/25 school year.

For more information or if you want to contribute to our cause, please visit our website. Money donated will be used for operational costs, establishing new programs and development of our ED-Tech platform STEMplore. All donations are greatly appreciated!!

For more background, our story started our freshman year at Bellarmine when we met in class and talked what we would be doing for our semester service project. We both mentored kids at our home schools but realized that there's a bigger need at the junior high schools nearby our campus where the test scores and socio-economic status is much lower. We were both fortunate enough to get supplemental math education during our formative junior high school years yet many of the students nearby barely have the resources to attend school. We knew we could make a difference in our local communities and this is where STEM for Others was born.
