Artist needs new Wacom Tablet
Donation protected
Back Story: Last year I bought a Yiynova 19 inch tablet monitor. I've loved it and used it a lot. My last GoFundMe even got me a monitor arm to use with it so I could draw more comfortably.
But about a month ago I had a hard drive failure and had to reinstall Windows8. After this I had constant problems with my tablet. Every hour, it seemed, it would lose pressure sensitivity while I was drawing and I would have to restart Manga Studio or restart the computer entirely to get it to work, only to have to do it again soon after. I wiped the hard drive entirely, again, and reinstalled the drivers and that helped for a few days.
Until last weekend, when I pulled my monitor forward to draw and the power went off. I discovered then that the power would only stay on if I held the cord in position. I ordered a new cord from Amazon, which arrived this past Wednesday. It, unfortunately, did not fix the problem, which means that the power connection inside the monitor is the problem. I can only get the power on if I hold the cord in and up, which makes the tablet useless.
The Important Part: Which means that I'm going to have to get a new tablet. I'm definitely going for a Wacom. Full disclosure: I would LOVE to get a Cintiq, but seeing as they are $1000-2500 and that seems completely unobtainable, I've decided on a smaller goal.
Edit 2: I was introduced to a site that sells refurbished Cintiq tablets. For $1600 I can get a 22HD Cintiq that's much better than the 13 inch. So that is what I'm shooting for now. Anything over the current goal will lessen how much I have to put in of my own money once I get my check in a few weeks!
EDIT: We raised $600 so quickly that I've been encouraged to raise the goal and try for a 13 inch Cintiq! So that's what I'm going to do. (the extra $100 is to cover any shipping/GoFundMe fees)

Without a tablet, I can't work on either my comics or my illustration work, and I can't work on the commissions that I was just paid for and that I have a deadline on. My art is my life and I can't live without doing it- especially my comics.
Thank you for any help with this campaign, even passing the link on through social media!
Rewards:
Any amount gets you my undying love and affection.
$20 will get you a pencil sketch of one character, either digital or with pencil on paper (my digital sketches are cleaner, fyi) Example here
$50 will get you a full color commission of one character, done in Manga Studio once I have a working tablet again. Here is an example!
If you donate $200 to this campaign, I will set aside time and materials and do a 16x20 inch acrylic painting on canvas paper of a subject of your choice. It will look something like this.
