Beloved Bang Bang Needs Your Help!

Hey there everyone! My good friend Kalia was sadly diagnosed with Cervical Cancer last month. Rightfully, she is trying to focus on getting well, and as we all know health concerns can be incredibly stressful. I am taking on a Go Fund Me to help her out with some very needed financial assistance in order for her to get better. I had one for myself last year, and without it, a couple fundraisers and some very amazing friends and family, I may not have made it through a very difficult time. It's unfortunate that in this day and age we need to ask for money when we get sick, but thank goodness there are opportunities available like this, and good people to help be supportive, when we need to make it through difficult times.
To make matters worse, she currently also suffers from Graves Disease, and complications between the two are making it difficult for her to hold down a steady job outside of her delightful yet demanding dancing career. Kalia has been dancing ballet since the age of five and as an adult through her passion has put on many burlesque shows in northern Colorado and beyond. She had planned to move to Denver this summer to start a new life after a very expensive and trying divorce, however, because of her recent diagnosis and financial strain, she has decided to stay put until she has recovered. While she thankfully qualified for some help via the state, and is able to have surgery, this does not cover basic living expenses, nor time off work for recovery. She will continue to dance despite complications, and has put incredible effort into recent events she has performed. Unfortunately, she has already had to cancel one event due to her health. She is asking for $3000 to help with the cost of living in order to put her health first during this trying time. She hopes to get back to work as soon as she is able, her passion for dancing is keeping her spirits up during this trying time. Her surgery is scheduled the 7th of September, and recovery may take weeks to months. Any little bit helps!!
