Freedom From Gun Violence - Help a Father and Son Heal After a Tragic Shooting

On Sunday morning, June 8, 2025, a father and son went to enjoy a game of basketball at Louisville’s newly renovated Algonquin Park. What began as a peaceful outing quickly became a nightmare — both were wounded in a senseless act of gun violence.

They survived, but their lives are forever changed.

Together, they’ve undergone six surgeries, with more ahead. Funds will be used to assist them on this journey. The physical pain is only part of the battle — their recovery journey will be long, emotional, and financially overwhelming.
