Hi everyone,

We’re the Lucases, and we’re reaching out with full hearts and hopeful spirits as we take the next big step in our journey to become parents.

We’ve been together for 8 years and married for nearly 5. We met as freshmen and never looked back. Today, we live in Greenwood with our two sweet dogs, building a life full of love, laughter, and dreams of starting a family. My husband Christian works as a dispatching lead, and my name is Julie and I own a small local business that I’ve poured my heart into.

For the past 4 years, we’ve been trying to grow our family. We’ve gone through countless appointments, testing, and treatments—including multiple rounds of medication and IUI (intrauterine insemination). Each time, we held on to hope. And each time, we faced heartbreak.

Now, we’re facing the reality that IVF (in vitro fertilization) is our best—and possibly only—option. While we’re grateful that IVF exists and gives us renewed hope, the financial burden it brings is heavy. Insurance does not cover most of our treatment, and the costs quickly add up: consultations, labs, medications, procedures, embryo storage, and more.

We’ve done everything we can to save and prepare, but we know we can’t do this alone. That’s why we’re asking for help—from friends, family, and anyone who feels moved by our story.
