María Isabel's sudden departure leaves an emptiness, a terrible trauma and a huge sorrow for everyone.
Six members of her family in Colombia have to travel all the way to Quebec City to join her. In addition to the unspeakable pain, they will have to face the expenses incurred by the trip and the funeral expenses. The purpose of this fundraising initiative is to support them in this terrible ordeal.

SPECIFIC DETAILS
The collected funds will be used to pay for the plane tickets for the family to come to Quebec City in order to see María Isabel and bring her back to Columbia. It will also cover for their expenses during their stay (hotel, food, transportation) so that they don’t have to worry about that.
Moreover, the funds will be used for all the funeral expenses and the costs related to bringing back María Isabel in Columbia.
The organizer of this campaign is the Quebec City Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS) university research group with whom María Isabel was doing her Ph.D. The group leader is Professor Jasmin Raymond, who was María Isabel Ph.D. director. Many students and researchers are part of the group. Everyone is deeply touched by what happened to María Isabel and wanted to help in every way possible despite their own sorrow. The designed recipient of the campaign is Félix-Antoine Comeau who is one the professional researcher of the team and who willingly offered to manage the campaign. The funds will be withdrawn by the team and will be used to directly pay for the expenses described above.
