Help Steve with Dialysis in order to get a kidney
Donation protected
Meet Steve Pate. To know him is to love him. Steve is a hard working husband and father who gives his all to those around him. He is the backbone for his family.
The hardest thing to do is to ask for help. But, that's what he needs. Steve suffered a life threatening aortic dissection three years ago. He underwent extensive emergency surgery to repair it. Incredibly grateful that he recovered and thrived, however, this event left him with limited health insurance options and financially devastated. But, he fought his way back to a good life!
FAST FORWARD: Steve has congenital progressive kidney disease which last week came to a roaring head! Faced with another life threatening illness-he was admitted to the hospital in kidney failure and placed on emergency dialysis. Within days, he was diagnosed with End Stage Renal Failure and future ongoing dialysis.
While he receives life-sustaining dialysis, Steve will be placed on a kidney transplant list. He is unable to work full time so he can receive the treatment that he needs.
He and his family would be extremely grateful if you could donate to help cover lost income and costs of dialysis which far exceed a one income home. Also send your positive thoughts, vibes, and prayers Steve's way. No donation is too small. He is a fighter and he is determined to adjust to weekly dialysis, recover his health, and back to work and family activities. With your love and support we can help Steve get back on his feet.
