Epping to Kandersteg V2
Donation protected
Hi Everyone!
earlier on this year, I shaved my head to raise money for my scout troop so that we could afford to go to Kandersteg in 2022.
Unfortunately, due to an admin error on JustGiving’s side, all of the money that I raised was refunded.
Last time we raised around £500- this is an absolutely amazing amount and we’d already worked out what we would be spending this on, so the news that we’re now half a grand down is pretty devastating.
If we can reach the target of £500 this time around, it would mean the absolute world!
This money means that we can take everybody no matter their background on a once in a lifetime scouting trip!
Kandersteg is an international scout campsite and we’d love to be able to give everyone the opportunity to go. It’ll provide our young people with learning valuable life skills and gaining a sense of understanding the natural world around them- key parts of being a member of scouting worldwide. It’ll also introduce them to the world family of scouting.
To end, I want to thank you all so much for the donations we received last time. It’s such a shame to have something like this happen, but we have to look on the bright side- thank you all for your support of our troop!
