Darryl's Epic Dream

Donation protected
My fiancé Darryl Jones was introduced to 3 million people when a video of him dancing with our daughter during a dance recital went viral.

You see, when he was 10 years old he battled a rare form of cancer known as osteosarcoma which left him with a right leg amputation, but the rest of his life lie ahead of him.  Darryl beat cancer and he attributes that to a strong belief in God’s grace combined with an unflappable positive attitude.

Although he adapted very well to his amputation, he does not have and has never had a sufficient prosthesis.

Darryl spent a year to work on becoming financially strong enough to accomplish 2 goals by his 50th birthday November 17, 2015.  He set out to open a new business and acquire a new modern artificial limb.  Unfortunately funds were not available to do both and a choice had to be made. True to form, he picked what he thought would make a difference in the lives of many over himself.

Darryl utilized his life's savings to invest in area teens by building out an elaborate and safe entertainment event center for them to enjoy music, dancing, games, food/beverages, and the good company of each other.  Epic Music Cafe (Epic) is a place that caters exclusively to teens from a diverse cross-sections of the region on Friday and Saturday nights. It houses a bowling alley, sport’s café, and live entertainment center.  Darryl has used everything that we have to launch Epic Music Cafe, and yes, that includes funds that were set aside to help him enter the next stage of his life with a new prosthesis by his 50th birthday. The space is 90 percent completed.

I cannot see letting his choice be in vain when he chose the youth, our future, over his own individual needs.

Our youth need our help and they deserve our support; it's going to take $100,000 to deliver Epic Music Cafe in to its full greatness for our teenagers.

Darryl uses his finance background to provide solid advice to clients, friends, and family weekly.  He rarely ask for assistance of any kind, but he is very appreciative and genuinely surprised when he receives it. I pray that the outpouring of love that was expressed by those that viewed Darryl dancing with our daughter will manifest in helping him with this endeavor.  Any contribution will help and be greatly appreciated.

Without your help the banks are closing the lid on this gift to our kids before they get the chance to see what's inside.  Funds are needed by mid November.  Thank you so much for your consideration.
