Sponsor an EPIC North Senior!
"The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members." --Coretta Scott King
If you are reading this, you are likely an member of our extended EPIC family. Graduation time for our first official class is coming quick and we need your help in celebrating and sending off our inaugural class!
Like many New York City high school students, some of our seniors and their families are struggling to finance end of the year activities, like prom, senior week, senior portraits, etc. Eighty-six percent of families qualify for free or reduced lunch, meaning that their parents are living near or below the poverty line. While we have been fundraising diligently at school and in our community, we are still short of our goal to subsidize these costs for our neediest families, and we are asking for your support!
At EPIC North, we believe in a fully-inclusive community, regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender expression, nationality, religion, or income. For many of our students, an inability to pay senior dues will mean that they are excluded from this incredibly exciting, celebratory time.
Our goal is to raise enough money to subsidize costs for all of our students experiencing financial hardship. No donation is too small! We thank you in advance for your generosity and for helping make our school's first graduation celebration a time for all to enjoy!
