My name is Molly and I own Ephem Finds, a small local botanical design business, that is looking to put the “petal-to-the-pedal”! I am not your average florist. I am that wild child on the side of the highway picking wispy bunches of periwinkle chicory. It's me you see on a hiking trail with a backpack filled with wildflowers and my golden retriever Milo at my side. I'm also the only gardener I know that never wears shoes. 

I love flowers with all my heart. I love growing them, learning about them, designing with them, and sharing them! Ephem Finds is looking to fund a vintage truck to sell my locally foraged and homegrown flowers. Picture this, you're taking a summer drive on a cool day with the windows down in your neighborhood. A gathering of smiling faces and cheery laughter is seen and heard around a vintage truck. You get closer and see a sign that says “make your own bouquets”, flower crowns, posies, wreaths, garlands, and more! So you stop over and meet me! Molly and probably my dog Milo. We tell you about these fresh blooms and you take some home to enjoy. Next thing you know Ephem Finds in at your wedding, your birthday party,  or you stop by at another one of our locations! Flowers can be there for you at every stage in life filling memories with color texture. It has been scientifically proven to make people happy, so why not spread a little joy. 

The flower truck and I want to be apart of your lives and introduce you to what nature has to offer. To build friendships, community, and engagement. With the donations I receive, I will purchase a reliable pickup truck from the 1950s that has personality and style (like me!). I'll make the necessary restorations to ensure safety standards are met for us to drive it to multiple locations in the Tri-State area. Once the foundations are laid it'll be time to do a floral facelift and bring my vision to life! 

The project list includes:

• Build a custom canvas cover to protect the flowers from wind and rain when driving. 

• Build a custom stand to hold flower buckets 

     Create a display for the blooms to be easily accessed by customers.

• A new paint job to get it looking event and picture-ready!

• Professional brand logo calligraphy

• Purchase and apply for multiple permits and licenses to be able to sell in multiple towns & counties

• Florist supplies for the customer to build their bouquets, flower crowns, and wreaths!

I am a small business with a big dream! I want to make a positive impact on my community by adding the charm of a vintage car, and the heart of homegrown/foraged flowers to its identity.
