Help Chris and His Family Through Surgery and Recovery

I’m starting this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Chris and Aline Donadio, and their two wonderful children—a 9-year-old daughter and a 5-year-old son.

Chris has been courageously fighting Stage IIIC testicular cancer. Last year, he underwent surgery to remove the main tumor. Since then, he’s completed months of intense chemotherapy. The next step in his treatment is a major abdominal surgery to remove the remaining tumors.

This surgery is extremely complex, with a long hospital stay followed by months of recovery at home. Through every step of this journey, Chris’s wife, Aline, has never left his side—caring for him, managing the home, and being there for their children. But the weight of travel, childcare, and everyday expenses has become overwhelming.

Many of us have asked how we can help. This fundraiser is one way to lift some of that financial burden so Chris and his family can focus on what matters most—his healing and recovery.

Your donations will go directly toward:

    •    Travel expenses to and from New York City for surgery and follow-up care

    •    Parking in NYC (and lodging, if necessary)

    •    Childcare and family support, including help with meals and ordering food when Aline is traveling back and forth from the hospital

    •    Everyday living expenses during this difficult time
