On 24 February 2022, the world woke to the shocking reality of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Like millions of people, I watched in disbelief as towns and cities were bombed, families were torn apart, and ordinary people found themselves fighting for their very survival. Since that day, I have followed the conflict every single day. Four years on, while the headlines may have become less frequent and the conflict has become normalised for many of us in the West, the suffering continues.
I believe we all have a choice when confronted with injustice. We can look away, or we can do something.
I have always believed that when we see something wrong in the world, we each have a responsibility to ask not "Why doesn't someone do something?" but "What can I do?"
This is my attempt to do something.
In November 2026, I will be joining Convoy4Ukraine and personally driving an ambulance from the UK to Ukraine. My goal is to raise enough money to purchase, equip and deliver a fully operational ambulance that will be handed directly to Ukrainian organisations providing humanitarian support. Every pound or dollar you donate will go directly towards purchasing and delivering the ambulance. I will personally cover all of my own travel costs, including fuel for the journey.
This ambulance will not be a symbol. It will be a practical, life-saving vehicle used to evacuate civilians, transport the wounded, deliver medical aid, and support communities living under the daily threat of attack. For the people who will rely on it, this vehicle could mean the difference between life and death.
To make this mission possible, I will be using part of my long service leave from Integral to undertake the journey. It is time I could spend doing many things, but this feels like one of the most meaningful ways I can use it. Compared to the extraordinary courage shown every day by the Ukrainian people, it is a small sacrifice, but it is one way I can contribute directly.
I have been fortunate throughout my career to work alongside incredible colleagues, clients, partners and friends. Many of you share a belief that leadership is about action, that we have a responsibility to make a positive difference, and that ordinary people can achieve extraordinary things when they come together behind a cause.
Over the years, many of you have supported me professionally, personally and as a friend. Today, I hope you might support this mission too.
Whether you are a colleague, a client, a friend, a family member, or simply someone who believes that freedom, democracy and human dignity are worth defending, your donation will help turn this mission into reality.
Every contribution, no matter the size, brings me one step closer to putting a life-saving ambulance into the hands of those who need it most.
This is about standing with people who have endured unimaginable hardship. It is about showing that they have not been forgotten. It is about demonstrating that ordinary citizens, thousands of miles away, still care enough to act.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any support you are able to give.
Whether you donate, share this page, or simply help spread the word, you will be helping deliver hope, practical support and potentially lifesaving assistance to people who desperately need it.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Slava Ukraini!
