As most members of the South Brunswick Class of 1994 are turning 50, we are wondering how the time has flown by since our high school graduation! As we stand on the threshold of this milestone, it's noteworthy that we are now in our 12th year of steering the scholarship fund established in Danny Grandin's honor. The enduring commitment and dedication of our class have surpassed all expectations, making a lasting impact year after year.
Remarkably, South Brunswick High School has acknowledged that our scholarship fund ranks among the most substantial monetary awards presented to a student. This recognition is a testament to the collective efforts and generosity of our classmates who have contributed over the years. It's a source of immense pride for the entire Class of '94, underscoring the positive impact we continue to make on the educational journey of deserving recipients. Here's to the enduring legacy of our class and the remarkable contributions that continue to shape the futures of aspiring students.
For those who are first learning of our scholarship...
Each year, we will select an SBHS college-bound senior who has a good chance to do great things for the world. To pick the recipient, we will review anything the applicant wants to share with us, including essays, transcripts, resumes, charitable works, art, business plans, etc.
We named this scholarship in honor of our classmate, Daniel Grandin. Losing his battle with leukemia during high school, Danny left a lasting impact on our community. He taught many of us what it means to be resilient and to fight against unfavorable odds. He embodied the kind of spirit we hope to support with this class scholarship. We continue to serve his memory and keep his champion spirit alive with this important scholarship in his name.
Members of the Class of 1994 Scholarship Committee have volunteered to pick the winner.
Thank you to all who have contributed in the past and continue to give each year. We understand times are tough and appreciate your generosity every year.
