Help Save Our Home

Hello family & friends,

We are currently going through a very difficult hardship as our house has been deemed structurally unsafe and not livable in its current condition.

On October 5th our home was deemed structurally unsafe by our homeowners insurance engineer. The structural damage has been caused by ground water which has rotted out all of the beams, sub floors, plates, sinking the middle walls along with mold and many other issues that keep being discovered as the construction crew continues to get to the sections rotted. The damage has affected our entire first floor of our home which includes the kitchen, dining room and living room. They have discovered that the foundation of our home was improperly built. So not only do they need to fix the structural issues but they need to remedy the foundation issues so that this never happens again.

Unfortunately our homeowners insurance will not cover any of the work as they do not cover any ground water damage. It is estimated to be around $100,000 plus to complete the repairs and get us back in our home. This is something we could never prepare for and unfortunately do not have the funds to complete the work. To lose our home completely would be devastating. We love our home and our community is everything to us. We cannot imagine our kids growing up anywhere else.
