Codi Salazar, San José's little sister, needs help.
On Friday afternoon, Codi was admitted to the ER, unresponsive, with critically low blood pressure and low oxygen. What we did not know is that Codi was suffering from a massive internal bleed that required emergency intervention from from medical staff, and that bleeding has now been stopped. However, there are more issues and her current situation is still highly unstable.
Codi is young, she is stubborn, and she is a fighter. If you looked up "spitfire" in the dictionary, you would see her face. This is what we're holding on to right now. We do not know how long she will be in ICU, and we're all praying she walks out of here and back into the loving arms of Kevin, Pickle, and her adoring friends and family.
Codi is one of the most unwaveringly loyal humans to so many of us. In this uncertain time, we're raising money to support current and future medical bills and to ease the financial burden on their family; Codi, Kevin, and Pickle.
This campaign is being managed by Erin Salazar, Codi's older sister; I'm writing to you from the ICU waiting room while the family waits for updates.
