Hi all!
A few days before Christmas, my husband Joe took a bad fall and broke his femur. He was rushed to the ER and into surgery, which left us all scrambling. He's home and safe, but the healing is not going as well as we'd like.
My husband's work provided most of our income. We've applied for FMLA and state emergency services to help with the financial hit, but we're still in the pending pile and it will be a few weeks before we see any financial help. While we've tried to speed this along, the state works at its own pace.
Since that day our family has been hit with other injuries, including an attack I'm still recovering from and stitches for our son. Our insurance also doesn't allow for any in-home care and we don't have anyone nearby to help with basic care. Which means I can't do any work outside the home.
This is me asking for help - and here are some ways you can.
#1 - Put me to work
I'm a freelance web developer and graphic designer, email campaign specialist, and write some pretty weird fantasy & science fiction stories.
My studio is here: Visit my studio
I can help build your brand, design your website, create a marketing campaign, and I can make a mean cheese squirrel.
#2 - Attend a workshop
In February I'll be offering three workshops on email campaigns and how to make them work for you. If you're interested in attending, you can register here: Register for Email Campaign Workshop
#3 - Purchase a signed print copy of Bloodflower (US Only). I've got a bunch sitting on my shelf collecting dust, so please take them off my hands.
#4 - Or you can 'donate a meal, help with a bill' here on GoFundMe
Cheers and I hope everyone had a better start to the year than we did.
