On September 5th, K-9 Trooper Chaffee from the Brighton post lost his house from a fire that started due to lightning. Tpr. Chaffee nor his family were hurt but they lost almost everything. With losing everyting the Michigan State Police family is looking to raise some money to help Tpr. Chaffee and his family out with items that need to be purchased right away.
