Hello,
Our names are Gabriela Aleman and Kelsey Rogoff, we are both sophomores studying Political Science at Notre Dame de Namur University and serve as the President and Vice President of NDNU’s Phi Alpha Delta International Pre-Law Fraternity chapter on campus. Our chapter is bound in conjunction to our well established interest in the law, diversity, integrity, social justice and service to others. We are seeking donations in any amount in order to get our chapter to attend P.A.D’s National Pre-Law Conference, Mock Trial and Law School Exposition in Washington D.C. from October 30th to November 1st.
The conference will allow our chapter members to develop leadership skills, garner awareness of various law schools, including law school admissions, and compete in a mock trial. In addition, attending this conference will provide us with the invaluable opportunity to network with a diverse set of individuals.
Our chapter members aspire to pursue careers in law and we fervently believe attending this conference will ultimately steer us towards academic and professional greatness. We would love to experience this influential opportunity but if we don’t raise enough money and don’t attend the conference, our chapter is discontinued for a year. We would be heavy hearted if that became the case and are seeking this as an opportunity to represent NDNU in Washington D.C.
Our chapter has and will continue to fundraise on campus. Despite our on campus fundraising, it will not provide us with sufficient funds. Any assistance to aid our chapters efforts towards making our trip a possibility would be greatly and profoundly appreciated.
