We are the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church (EOTC) Archdiocese of the Caribbean and Latin America, under His Eminence Abune Thaddaeus, Archbishop. Our headquarters is located in Trinidad and Tobago.

We are providing aid for our parish churches under our administration and the surrounding communities in the island of Jamaica.

Our beloved island was severely hit by Category 5 Hurricane Melissa on October 29, 2025. This has been one the most powerful hurricanes in history with some of the highest wind speeds ever recorded, which left thousands of our brothers and sisters devastated and in need of immediate relief.

The funds raised will be allocated to the parishes most severely impacted- especially our parish church and the community in Westmoreland, Jamaica where the eye of the storm came ashore.

These funds will be spent on providing immediate relief for those whose homes were damaged, and are in need of food, or have lost communication. The funds will also go toward repairing the roof of our church which was blown off.

As an immediate next step we plan to distribute food boxes with provisions, and hygiene products to meet the immediate needs of our people.
