Hi, my name is Ari and me and my family are looking for help to fund my cat, Enzo’s necessary CT scan and eventual surgery. For a short while now I’ve listened to Enzo’s breathing decline, he always seemed so full of energy that I figured it could just be one of those things, however recently I started to notice how muffled and snorty he was beginning to sound, he started breathing through his mouth when resting and his nostrils flared from no activity, indicating his ability to breath properly was becoming worse as time went on. We took him to see the vet, who told us he’d need a camera investigation into his nostrils/throat to get an idea of the issue. That investigation itself was enough to set us back 800, and we are already struggling with money, we simply cannot afford the next steps. I got a call from the vet this morning telling me that results of the camera investigation show a severe amount of swelling and inflammation in his nasal/throat tissue. Indicating anything from an overgrowth of tissue, to polyps, to cancer. The *only* way we can get this treated is if we get a CT scan first to determine the exact cause, and it needs to be done sooner rather than later as if left the swelling can increase to such an extent that it blocks his airways and he would hardly be able to breath at all. I have been quoted 3k for the CT scan, not including the surgery he’ll require afterwards. As we are already struggling with debt, 3k is far too much, bordering impossible. We could possibly save up for it, but that would take 5 months or more and this needs treat ASAP before it becomes dangerous. Any donations are so greatly appreciated. Enzo is practically my lifeline, the one being who grounds me when I’m at my lowest. Losing Enzo to something that I could’ve prevented if I had money would absolutely shatter me.
