Enzo was found by my friend in Abu Dhabi whilst she was out feeding the local cat colony at her workplace.

Having originally intended for him to be a TNR (trap, neuter, return), it quickly became evident that Enzo had an issue with his eyes that was severely affecting his sight; at only 1.5 years' of age, Enzo was partially blind. Enzo was seen at British Vet, who referred him to the eye specialist Dr Rui in Dubai.

Dr Rui advised that the best chance of restoring Enzo's vision was surgery to remove the corneal scarring in both eyes and patch the corneal surface with an amniotic membrane. This is a complex, delicate surgery, which can only be performed by a specialist such as Dr Rui.

The estimate for surgery is around AED12,000 (GBP2,500):

My friend currently has 35+ rescues, some of which have had large vet bills recently, so we are reaching out for help with Enzo's surgery. We want to give Enzo the best chance possible of being able to see again!
