Support Melissa and Alanna in Memory of Enwu Liu

Enwu Liu and his wife Yaoqin Wang died in a tragic car accident on August 20, 2019. They are survived by their two daughters, Melissa and Alanna. In his honour, colleagues from the National Research Council (NRC) of Canada have created this GoFundMe page to support Enwu’s family with their immediate financial needs as they cope with their loss.
Enwu was an employee at the NRC in Saskatoon and had recently celebrated his twentieth year with the organization. Throughout his career, Enwu was a prized and respected researcher, and he unhesitatingly provided valuable support and friendship to summer/co-op students, graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, technicians and researchers. He contributed to many papers published in top journals and to licensed patents. It is hard to put into words what the loss of Enwu will mean to our community because he contributed so much as a coworker and as a friend.
Enwu spoke often of his daughters to his coworkers – his love and devotion for his family was outstanding. Any contributions to help with their current needs would be deeply appreciated.
