Envision Children

Hello friends, family, colleagues, and associates,

Please join me in supporting this worthy cause. Envision Children (EC) provides supplemental education to under-served students in math, reading, and science. These under-served students include, students of color and those below the Federal Poverty rate. Currently, we support 230 students. EC provides services that moves to these students to proficiency in their grade level. These services include the Catch Every Child (CEC) program, which is during the school year, and the Academic Summer Enrichment Program (ASEP), which is held in during the summer break.

In non-pandemic times we raise funds for these programs through two events, Lighting the Way and the Red Carpet event. Lighting the way is our Spring scholarship brunch and the Red Carpet event is a Fall dinner gala. Since March of 2020 we have not been able to have either of these events, which typically will bring in over $200,000. We are truly at a critical time where the organization needs to bring in some serious funding. On Friday, September 24, 2021, Envision Children launched a $275,000 Scholarship drive.

As a part of this GoFundMe Challenge I am asking for gifts of $1,200 for a full scholarship, $600 for a half scholarship or $300 for a quarter scholarship. Gifts at lower levels will also be accepted and grouped together to support students in need.

All donors will receive information from Envision Children letting you know about the student you are supporting, and ways to interact with the child if you choose to do so.
