We, the Burlington High School Environmental Club, are raising money to buy reusable water bottles for our entire student body. We are a group of environmentally concerned students who are working to make our school a more a sustainable and environmentally aware community. Our group is currently leading an initiative to eliminate plastic PET water bottles from our school cafeteria and aim to replace them with BPA-free reusable bottles made available to all students. Our school has long struggled with improper disposal of waste and contaminated recycling; Each week 300 single-use water bottles are purchased and a majority of these end up in landfills. However, we need YOUR help to make this goal a reality! Please contribute anything you can to support our cause and our planet.
