Funds for After-School Entrepreneurship Program

The purpose of this fundraiser is to purchase a building & build a library for our entrepreneurship program. As many of you know, our community has the lowest test scores and the highest dropout rates. Our children go to school but are not taught proper skills to help them succeed in America. As the BLACK BUSINESS CHAMBER INC., we have decided to come together to change that for our youth. The building will have a full business library, art classes, etiquette classes, tutoring with homework, SAT/ACT prep, and after-school meals.  Our students will have the opportunity to shadow other business owners to learn hands-on how to operate a business. Our students will host community events as a project, learn about generational wealth, the importance of credit, personal and business taxes, and real estate. This program is dedicated to the betterment of our youth! We will have field trips worldwide to learn about black history at places such as African American Museum, Rosewood, Fl., Ft. Lyon CO., Greater U Street Historic District Tulsa, OK (BLACK WALLSTREET). We must provide our youth with the truth and a more in-depth perspective of our unspoken heritage.
