Entire Home and Dog Lost In Fire
Donation protected
On February 16, 2022 at 7:38 am in the morning, my aunt and uncle lost their entire home - the only home they had ever known. In 1988, my aunt and uncle moved to Pasadena, Texas from Mexico to search for a better life and find a safe place to raise their 3 boys. Thirty-four years later, they lost everything in this devastating fire, including their beautiful 15-year old boxer named Bella.
On Wednesday morning, my aunt left the house at 5:30 am to start her day working as a bus monitor for the special needs students at the Deer Park School District. Shortly after, my uncle left the house to begin his long day at work. At about 7:38 am, the fire started with what firefighters suspect was an electrical issue that led to the devastating fire. In less than 1 hour, everything inside their home was perished. Nothing inside was salvageable. My aunt and uncle were left with only the clothes on their backs, and the memories that they made in that house.
My aunt and uncle are mourning the loss of their dog, Bella, who was a part of their family for 15 beautiful years. Bella was the daughter of their previous family dogs, Ramona and Sancho. Bella was only a puppy when she joined their family, and she loved to play and nap all day. The ashes of Sancho were lost in the fire as well.
We are asking all our friends and family for donations to help my family get back on their feet. They will need help buying clothes, shoes, toothbrushes, medicine, and everything else they have lost. Please do not feel pressured to donate, a simple share will go a long way.
Thank you.
