Hi All,

I am hoping to gather further support to acquire full Mobile Entertainment Systems for Cancer Patients, in collaboration with POGA.

After being diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma Stage 2 Bulky Disease Cancer in April, it has turned my whole world upside down and has completely changed my perspective on life. I had been working two jobs throughout the 6 months before I was diagnosed when I was constantly getting various symptoms.

Once diagnosed, I was in a fortunate position to start chemotherapy within a couple of weeks after going through numerous scans and meetings.

In this time, where I was told to take time off work, and to recover, it made me really appreciate the smaller things in life, and allowed me to also be thankful for all the support I have had through such a mad time.

Throughout my whole career, I have dedicated a lot of time and experience helping others get through difficult times in various ways in the community, and I am wanting to share my experiences with the wider community who are also going through their own treatment.

As an avid gamer (when I actually have a night off), I found that teaming up with POGA was my best option moving forward to be able to keep busy, and provide entertainment for myself throughout the treatment.

Therefore, POGA have very kindly contributed towards new mobile entertainment systems. With a 32" in-built screen and a PS5, patients will be able to keep connected with their peers, play their favourite games, watch films and distract themselves from what is going on around them.
