Update 9/5/2024:

Unfortunately, we're entering round two. The first go around wasn't a knock out on either side, so the fight continues. More months of powerful chemo is on the agenda, along with a plethora of other medical treatments to try. Fortunately, Sara & Holly are currently able to get a little breather post-surgery, and charge up for the next several months' challenges. This next chapter has even more daunting medical fees than before, along with the disappointment of not being able to return to a still new, meaningful career. Any help we can pitch in for this next cycle will be a major relief for these two amazing ladies.

Dear friends,

We're launching this fundraiser on behalf of our friend Sara Carrion, a dedicated single-mom to young Holly who recently started her career as an occupational therapist. Sara has been a powerhouse for so many of us, and now she needs our help.

Recently, Sara was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. This is a very aggressive form of cancer and requires aggressive, long-term treatments. Because of this, it will not be possible for Sara to continue working; this sudden battle will instigate great emotional and financial burdens.

This GoFundMe campaign is being set up to help remedy some of the financial hardship of Sara and her family. Your contributions to our goal will help offset medical, childcare, and day-to-day expenses incurred while Sara is focusing on treatment during the upcoming months.
