My dad, Dennis Adams, is 78 years old and has been living with Alzheimer’s disease. Recently, we faced an emergency when his home’s sewer line broke, and the city required us to fix it right away. The repairs were expensive and came at a time when we were already struggling with many bills. On top of that, Dennis’s Alzheimer’s has progressed to a moderate to severe stage, and we know he will need specialized care in the very near future.
Unfortunately, the cost of a care home that can provide the support Dennis needs is far beyond what our family can afford right now. The financial strain has only increased with other urgent household issues, like termites, gophers, a broken gate, damaged cement steps, and a garage that needs to be torn down and rebuilt to keep his home safe and comfortable. Making these repairs is especially important to prevent Dennis from hurting himself as his condition progresses.
We are reaching out to our community for help. If you can find it in your hearts to support Dennis during this difficult time, any contribution would mean so much to our family. Your kindness will help us cover the cost of repairs and ensure Dennis gets the care he deserves. Thank you so much for your support.
